The same can be said when Scorch was introduced to the bad batch, it’s nostalgia bait and cameo simulator. When Scorch was introduced he kicked ass but when the finale for the bad batch aired, he died without putting up a fight which sucks :(.

Andor looked too like a high budget fan film, except for the prison arc. I mean i hate these kind of realisation technique they put in place, with photorealistic backgrounds, this is terrible and i doesn't feel like Star Wars at all, in Andor we could talk about Ferrix or Aldhani

Don't let anybody in that business say otherwise: they are *all* in it to make money and for no other reason. Lucas is being ridiculously hypocritical here, because he wrote entire movies with his target audience in mind. Again: nobody in the movie business does it for the love of the art. The problem is not that movies are a business, the problem is that they are run by people who don't know how to run that business. Ofcourse it also doesn't help that modern audiences decide whether a movie si going to be a success before filming has started, but that's a different story.

I still can't believe how good "The Boys" is, there's no way it would have ever been played on tv or in cinemas, it just makes fun of political correctness so much (all the PR subplots basically) while still having diverse characters that are complex and likeable.

I have turned to watching asian entertainment, particularly korean and japanese shows/movies. Mainly because they are more entertaining, creative and engaging - think Bad guys, Stranger, Agency

It's weird to me this comparison between Legendary Godzilla and modern Toho's because they are clearly aimming at different goals that were always diferent sides of Godzilla. Like a lot of japanese godzilla movies are just dumb fun and some of them are even great dumb fun movies so I dont see what is wrong with Godzilla being an anti hero. Also, I believe theree is a little misconception here because Godzilla is not pure evil. yes it was japan's greastest fear but it also has known how to be japan biggest strengths. So again I dont see the problem with Legendary's Godzilla going in other direction from what Toho's are doing with Shin and Minus One

Insane that the writer is the Director and is also in charge of VFX and not only in charge, but knows his way around the software they're using. He was personally pulling all nighters, touching up everything in the pipeline when his team was behind on deadlines.

Same thing with Halo. Absolute garbage, I just stick my to the original lore and tweak the modern "story" (whatever could even be called a story) into my own thing that makes sense

Star Wars to me, is Episodes 1-6. Yes, the prequels were not as great as the originals but the stories made some sense. All the shows (Clone Wars, Episodes 7-9 and all these series) were just for fan appeasement

another thing is that the point of minus 1 isn't the visuals looking flawless constantly. they put good vfx where it counted. we are collectively more able to look past the weaker vfx moments bc the rest of the movie was so strong. also, minus 1's crew had no overtime/didnt work on weekends. their passion and heart comes through much more than non unionized vfx artists working on movies with zero passion they dont care about. i feel bad for vfx hollywood artists who are overworked and then mocked for their bad product.

It sucks man, from a diehard kid to a diehard adult now, seeing the decline just hurts. From them destroying lucasarts and legends entirely. The Star Wars gaming genre has become a ghost town of mostly mid games. No 1313, no open world Jedi/sith/bounty hunter game. Nothing. Just basic ass here and there games. The sequels were the beginning of the end. I genuinely thought it was all over, then mando came out. For the first time in a long time, I had felt hope that it could be turned around with the right people like filoni. And Dave’s done the best that he can. For the most part…. Then comes boba, & Kenobi….. I start to question, did they not learn from their past mistakes? Why do they keep ignoring simple lore? THEN comes andor and I get some people like it. But let’s be real, that is a marvel agents of shield show, there is no need and no room for that at this point in modern Star wars. The only limelight’s of Star Wars these past few years have consisted of some of Ahsoka, mando 1,2 and tales of the Jedi. That’s just not gonna fly when you used to be the BEST and biggest movie franchise of all time. I find it baffling at times that fans on RUclips can come out with projects and low budget animations and somehow be BETTER than most of what’s being put out: EVEREST PRODUCTIONS for instance. They are in the process of animating the entire darth plagueis novel. WHO WOULDNT WANNA SEE THAT!?!? Young palpatine, his old master. It’s stuff like that that’ll click with the true fanbase. They insist on doing their stories when there’s so much lore already waiting in the safe. Old republic, Star Wars legacy with Darth krayt after return of the Jedi. The old republic is something I love and care for very much but seeing them not use or even TRY, when they’ve added certain aspects to it like force healing n such into canon. It enrages me man. Done right or not. Because you finally see them going to the past in Star Wars for the acolyte, BUT instead they decide they wanna make this in THEIR era of Star Wars “the high republic”. Just make it make sense? What happened to the saying “the fans are the voice”? I love Star Wars more than anything. I know most won’t read all this and I don’t blame you lol. I’m yapping, but Star Wars is bigger than just a movie to me. But sometimes I wonder, is all these shows being put out calculated so that there’s even more division within the fanbase, so they don’t have to make any changes? Because in their eyes they’ll see “hey, there are people that liked this said project, forget about all the hate🤪.” I hope and pray that one day we can all gather around theaters and genuinely be excited again! As someone who was never a fan of Godzilla and never had any interest in watching them, when i heard all the buzz about this one i watched it and it's now one of my favorite movies ever!

Would love to know how many “notes” and rewrite requests came from higher-ups at Disney. Including Grogu and Din in Book of Boba Fett had to have been a mandate from higher up.

I thought it was mostly cheap garbage until the last two episodes. Poorly filmed, poorly cast, poorly designed, poorly costumed...then the story became okay.

It is one thing for Hollywood to disappoint the audience. But I have NEVER seen Hollywood botch their job SO bad that the audience systematically destroys any and all future and derivative products from the franchise as well! Still yet, Hollywood never seems to learn the lesson and change, does it?

Imo everything after endgame (besides Spiderman) doesn't feel important. The Loki series mock and made the infinity stones feel like nothing. Making the infinity saga meaningless. Kang was defeated in the antman movie, making him a clown in the eyes of fans. Im sorry, but the high evolutionary was a better Kang than him. Thor love and thunder, was a downgrade for Thor... I never understood why make him fat and didn't have a good redemption story shortly after. Who of the remaining avengers feels important? NO ONE. To much proyects that aren't connected at all, that's the main issue.
